Clare Twomey, The Seen And The Unseen, at Tate Modern (28 Sep - 8 Oct 2017)

Clare Twomey (5-106) is transforming Tate Exchange at Tate Modern into a factory, making everyday objects from clay to explore ideas around the concept of production.

In week one you can clock in, join the production line and learn the skills of working with clay. In week two the production line stops and you will enter a factory soundscape. Take a tour, hear talks from industry specialists, explore how communities are built by collective labour and leave your thoughts on what production means to you. In both weeks your labour will be exchanged for another person’s object from the factory.

The Seen And The Unseen takes place very Thursday–Sunday, 28 September – 8 October 2017, 12-6pm.
