Education Space (Unit 2)

Nick Rawcliffe is a maker, designer and trained engineer, who specialises in product and furniture design. He founded Rawstudio in 2004 after studying at the Bauhaus and the Royal College of Art, with an engineering degree from Bristol University.

Nick spoke about his diverse output, from hanging chairs to optical illusion lighting, to sports innovations. The crossover of existing projects and personal interest in new materials and processes are the primary drivers for new work. Most recently, Nick's personal work was exhibited at the Summer Exhibition 2019 at the Royal Academy of Art and an award winning feature at Chelsea Flower Show. rawstudio.co.uk
