Diana Savostaite, Private Spaces Exhibition Dates: 19 January-24 February 2019 For our first Viewing Room exhibition of 2019 Diana Savostaite presents new large-scale paintings, the latest development in her painting practice. "This exhibition is dedicated to spaces, in which we are the most natural and true to our-selves, where we can leave all the roles and masks behind the closed door." - Diana Savostaite, January 2019. Lithuanian-born painter Diana Savostaite has lived in London since 2005 and studied painting at the Vilnius Academy of Arts in Lithuania. It was here that she developed her approach to painting the world around her in a manner that attempts to capture the heart and emotional feeling of the subject, whether its family, the home, the river, or even the local.
