Thames-Side Studios based Sarah Tew (Studio 0-241) presents new large scale watercolour swatches on fabric. These new works engage with colour, bringing out resonating connections and emotions to a sense of place. Sarah’s interests lie within the physical interactions of materials, questioning the language and values of visual imagery in relation to the physical realm and histories of landscape painting. About the artist Sarah was born in Cumbria, UK, recently completed an MFA in Fine Art at Slade School of Fine Art (2019) and currently lives and works in London.
