Rita Fernández
As a mere description of two possible attitudes that can be adopted during the making of work, and towards one’s bodily needs and affections, the exhibition presents a series of works where the viewer is confronted by the bodily, the inner, and the outer, sometimes the two simultaneously. From medical jargon to a very personal lexicon, the works presented explore the synonymous - and antonymous - relationship between love and its abstinence, skin and tissue, bearing and loss, surface and medium, restraint and surrender. - Rita Fernández, July 2026 About the artist: Rita Fernández (b. 1999) is a London-based Mexican artist.
