The day Londoners have been waiting for for many years is about to arrive, with the re-opening on Friday 14 October 2022 of one of the capital city’s most iconic architectural buildings - Battersea Power Station.
Hall Conservation (Studio 5-07) are proud to have played a significant role in the journey. They were enlisted for consultation, specialist surveys, specifications and restoration work. For the past six years their team have been working on different elements, from producing surveys and specifications for the Art Deco control room A and the 1950’s Control Room B, conservation treatment to the Bronze Directors entrance doors, remanufacture and replacement of Bronze plaques to the installation of large Industrial plant as sculpture, inside and outside, of the power station, both on site at Battersea and here at Thames-Side Studios.
