Rae Hicks' (Studio 4-101) painting Terrace has won the inaugural Waverton Art Prize. Rae beat nearly 700 submissions in the open call art competition shortlisted by the international curator Paint Talk and judged by portrait artist and winner of the BP Portrait award, Stuart Pearson Wright.

Rae Hicks is the proud winner of a cash prize of £10,000 and will enjoy a solo exhibition adorning the walls of Boisdale of Bishopsgate's Alice's Oyster Bar and Gallery.
