Apparata Studio (HR-001/002, Shoreditch) have been nominated for the Stirling Prize, the UK's most prestigious prize for architecture, for their project A House For Artists in Barking. Winners will be announced on 19th October. The project provides twelve apartments to artists in Barking who contribute to running a public programme. The project is a rethink of adaptable, sociable living. The building is also nominated for the Neave Brown Award for Housing and the Stephen Lawrence Prize.
