Max Middleton the Artist: A Life Unbound by Paint is a retrospective catalogue being produced by Marilyn Durkin (Studio 7-108) and family to coincide with a memorial exhibition for Max Middleton, curated by Elina Cerla, taking place at Thames-Side Studios Gallery from 5th-20th August 2023.

They have launched a 10-day Kickstarter campaign to ensure they can print and reserve enough catalogues for everyone interested.

The catalogue will be an opportunity to see the artistic progression of a life’s work, from different periods and in different media, with sketchbooks and glimpses into Max's working process as an artist and teacher, including beautiful drawings, expressive paintings, vibrant watercolours, and masterful printmaking.
