Opening on Friday 21st July, Ray Richardson's (Studio TB-121) new show Mykindatown sees Ray return to the Digbeth Art Space in Birmingham with a more graphic-based exhibition in 2023, following his successful Soulweekender painting exhibition last year.
"So he has, and we got a same meat, different gravy thing going on with this new collection of work, dealing with similar themes to the last show but served up in new ways; featuring conté drawings on board (in some cases with oil glazes adding tone) and strong, acrylic painted drawings on canvas plus some choice cut original limited edition prints made in collaboration with and published by the mighty Glasgow Print Studio. There might even be a few paintings chucked into the gravy for good measure to enjoy too…." - text courtesy the artist
Exhibition open from 22nd July and continues until 27th August.
