Hannah Quinlan & Rosie Hastings, Angels of History, St. James's Park Station

Art on the Underground presents Angels of History, a new permanent artwork by Hannah Quinlan & Rosie Hastings (Studio 4-055) at St James's Park station, the only Grade I listed station in London.

"Angels of History is the first mosaic created by the artists and draws on the rich history of the building in which it is installed: 55 Broadway, London Underground's iconic headquarters for over 80 years. 55 Broadway was the tallest building in London on its completion in 1929, and was immediately considered radical, in part thanks to the sculptures carved into its stone façade by artists including Jacob Epstein and Henry Moore." - text courtesy Art on the Underground.
