Cody Choi (0-121) is shortlisted for The Football Art Prize 2026 with Self Portrait- My First Diving Header. "This photo captures a moment of instinctive freedom. Taken during rehearsals with English National Opera, I encountered a full grass football pitch for the first time. Growing up playing football on hard, stony grounds in Hong Kong, I had never attempted a diving header. This leap is both playful and symbolic - an expression of joy, memory, and the body reclaiming football as passion and freedom, creative and joy." - Cody Choi The Football Art Prize exhibition takes place at the Millennium Gallery, Sheffield from 11th June, before travelling to the National Football Museum, Manchester in November. The exhibition was selected by a panel including Design Museum director Tim Marlow OBE, artist and writer Harland Miller, and Tottenham Hotspur Women's footballer Jessica Naz.
