Jan Hendzel Studio (TB-00/01) presents An Offering at Forefront Gallery (134 Old Street), curated in collaboration with Giles Tettey Nartey.

Forefront Gallery is a new cultural platform founded by Professor Sadie Morgan OBE, co-founder of dRMM, and Dicle Guntas, managing director of developer HGG, with the mission of fostering dialogue between artists, cultural institutions, developers, and landowners.

An Offering presents a series of works by Jan Hendzel Studio that unfold between material knowledge and embodied making. Wooden sculptures, crafted furniture pieces, and small maquettes form a collective installation conceived through a logic defined by timber and technique, where carving, turning, stacking, and alignment become rhythmic acts of assembly.

The exhibition acts as a reciprocal gesture: the studio’s work is offered to the space, emerging from the offering made by Forefront Gallery through the commission and platform they provide. As a result, the space is transformed into an intimate place of process, memory, and making.
