Linocut One-Day course

Come along and explore the art of relief printing, the oldest form of printmaking. Learn how to transfer a simple design onto a block, and work with specialist cutting tools to carve your image. Mix inks, and print on lovely Japanese paper using our historic Albion press. Participants can expect to leave with a small edition of work at the end of the day.

Linocut is a very direct process and you can achieve bold and dramatic results with minimal equipment. If you are interested in how you can carry on your practice at home and at the studio, this is the course for you!
