Beverley Jane Stewart Hon Bed.FRSA

Beverley-Jane Stewart is a mixed media artist, specialising on the importance of history in understanding how communities evolve. Working with paper, canvas, wood and plastic she applies contrasting techniques to create periods of time. Her work has been internationally exhibited and is in permanent museum collections. 2026 Stewart was a Feature Artist in first interfaith Central London Exhibition and had media coverage. She also exhibited in Oxford and Brighton and in December has a joint showing in Berlin, Germany.

She is a member of Thames-Side Print Studios and part of The Printmakers Council team. Her latest collection of prints concentrates on life around the Thames. Now a growing glass city she invites the viewer to look beyond the skyscrapers and to reflect on the shipping world that brought new trades into Britain. Working with oil based inks, she contrasts the past with the present by applying the subtle grainy tones of traditional etchings with the vibrance of a relief print.
