I am the daughter of two artist printmakers so easily took up the idea and made my own kind of printssince I first entered the St Barnabas print workshop at Cambridge art school as a sixteen year old student.

In recent years I have made etchings which I print myself at Thames-Side Print Studio in Woolwich.

In the 1970s I graduated from Royal College of Art to make my living as a freelance illustrator and artist.

My subject is often still life observation of the every day like this image of a small formal garden in Essex where I noted the contrast between the real and idealised woman.
